I have had my acer predator p03 640 for around 2 years and I went to hibernate it yesterday and it appeared to hibernate but its fans started to go full speed and leds stayed on so I switched it off long pressing the case power button.

Today I have tried to turn it on and the leds cycle rather than going to the colours I set them, no video output to my monitors, and it emits a beep code. One long beep followed by two short beeps.

I have tried googling the issue but it seems that people say its either ram, video card or motherboard.

I have removed the ram, one at a time and it gives a different beep code them. I assume for no ram.

I have tried removing the video card but the issue persists.

I have removed and replaced the cmos battery and shorted the cmos pins but the issue persists.

Have you any insight into the issue?

Try the clear CMOS first and see if that fixes all the issues happening with your PO3-640 desktop.

If that doesn't work do the following steps that Acer recommends:

Start up problems after prolong use

After a prolong period of use your PC may experience start up problems again. This may be caused by breakdown of devices connected to the motherboard such as HDD, CPU fan, etc. The following tips may help to revive the PC or identify the cause of failure.

    1. Clear the CMOS values using the CLR_CMOS jumper. Refer to CLR_CMOS jumper. When completed, follow up with a Load Optimised Default in the BIOS setup.

    2. Check the CPU cooler fan for dust. Long term accumulation of dust will reduce its effectiveness to cool the processor. Clean the cooler or replace a new one if necessary.

    3. Check that the 12V power & ATX connectors are fully inserted into the motherboard connectors. Make sure the latches of the cable and connector are locked into place.

    4. Remove the hard drive, optical drive or DDR memory to determine which of these components may be at fault.

If all the above doesn't work then there are many specific troubleshooting fixes in the PO3-640 service guide like, Processor fan does not run but power supply fan runs / Processor test failed / Memory test failed / Hard disk drive test failed etc which there too many to list here, so and if you can, provide us an exact failed parts of post boot of your desktop so that we can give you advice, otherwise I suggest that you take your desktop to a technician so they can pinpoint the exact fault(s) and fix them. Good luck.
