Missing DHCP DNS Configuration on Predator Connect X7 5G

Hello Acer team and community,

I’m using the Acer Predator Connect X7 5G router and noticed a key limitation in its configuration capabilities:

There is currently no option to set custom DNS servers in the DHCP settings for LAN or Wi-Fi clients. This means that all connected devices are forced to use the default DNS provided by the router or the ISP, with no way to override it centrally.

This is a critical feature that’s expected in any mid- to high-range router. The ability to define DNS servers (e.g. AdGuard, Cloudflare, NextDNS, internal resolvers) at the DHCP level is essential for:

  • Network-wide content filtering or privacy
  • Custom DNS resolution in corporate/home environments
  • Avoiding manual configuration on each device

I’ve checked all available menus, but this option appears to be missing.

Is there a hidden way to configure this, or is Acer planning to add this feature in a future firmware update?
It would be great to hear from others in the community or from the Acer development team.

Thanks in advance!
