Help Needed, NVIDIA Driver Issue on Acer Nitro V 15 (ANV15-51-5589) After Windows Reinstallation

Hello everyone,

I have an Acer Nitro V 15 model ANV15-51-5589. Recently, I reinstalled Windows (Windows 11) on this device. After reinstalling I installed all the drivers from Acer’s official support page here

However, the NVIDIA graphics driver is not working properly I still see a yellow warning icon in Device Manager next to the GPU.

I then tried updating the driver using GeForce Experience, but that did not solve the issue.

After that, I used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove all NVIDIA drivers and then reinstalled the latest Game Ready Driver for the RTX 4050 from NVIDIA’s official page:

I repeated the driver install process 2-3 times with different configirations, but the problem persists.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a solution for the NVIDIA driver on this Acer Nitro V 15 after a fresh Windows install? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi the correct way to uninstall with DDU is running DDU in Safe Mode (see link) and clicking on the option in DDU "Clean and restart", don't install the dGPU driver but let Windows either install it or the compatible driver will be offered as Optional update when you Check for updates in Windows. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-startup-settings-1af6ec8c-4d4a-4b23-adb7-e76eef0b847f
