Please follow the instructions below again and let us know.

    • remove the battery socket, remove the charger adapter as well
    • press and hold the on/off button 7 times repeatedly to remove any static stuck inside,
    • then connect only the charger adapter and try to turn it on.

if it turns on, put all the parts back to their original state and use it. If the problem is not solved, there may be a problem with the motherboard power circuit. Please send it to acer service or a computer repair shop and let us know.

The biggest reason why the problems are not solvedis if someone who says there is a problem with the GPU says; If I change the case, will the problem be solved? That's the whole point! The concepts are different! We should not go off topic.

Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- terminals inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, unseat the RAM modules, if you have a spare RAM module install that or replace the original RAM modules, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

If your Acer Nitro V15 suddenly stopped working with no power lights or response, a hard reset is the first troubleshooting step. This involves disconnecting the power cable, removing the battery (if it's removable), holding the power button for 30 seconds, then reattaching the battery and power cable. If that doesn't work, check the power adapter and outlet, and consider consulting an Acer service center or a computer repair shop if the problem persists.
    Detailed Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Hard Reset:
Disconnect power: Unplug the power adapter and any other devices connected to the laptop.
Remove battery: If your Nitro V15 has a removable battery, take it out.
Hold power button: Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power.
Reattach battery: If you removed the battery, put it back in.
Reconnect power: Plug in the power adapter.
Power on: Press the power button to try turning the laptop on.
    2. Check Power Adapter and Outlet:
Test different adapter: If possible, try a different power adapter to see if the issue is with the original one.
Test different outlet: Plug the laptop into a different outlet to rule out problems with the power source.
    3. Battery Issues:
Charging indicator: If the charging indicator (a light that usually indicates charging) is on when plugged in, the battery may be the problem.
Try without battery: If you can remove the battery, try powering on the laptop without it connected.
    4. Professional Help:
Acer Service: If the above steps don't work, the problem could be with internal hardware. Contact Acer support or an authorized service center.
Computer Repair Shop: You can also take your laptop to a local computer repair shop for diagnosis and repair.
    5. BIOS Reset (Advanced):
Remove battery and power: Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery.
Locate CMOS battery: Find the round CMOS battery (coin-cell battery) on the motherboard.
Short the contacts: Short the "+" and "-" contacts of the CMOS battery with a small wire or paperclip for a few seconds.
Reattach components: Reconnect the battery, power, and try booting the laptop.
Note: If you're not comfortable with advanced troubleshooting steps like BIOS resets, it's best to consult a professional.

Try performing a power cycle by disconnecting the charger, holding the power button for 60 seconds, and reconnecting it. Check if the charging light turns on when plugged in, as this can indicate whether the laptop is receiving power. If the screen remains blank, connecting to an external monitor can help determine if the issue is display-related. Allowing the laptop to cool down for a few hours may help if overheating was the cause. Testing with a different charger can also rule out power supply issues.
