    You say that it is abnormal for your computer to heat up in any game. There can be many reasons for such problems;

    • There may be many programs running in the background,
    • Your PC may be affected by a virus,
    • It is time to renew the processor and graphics card thermal pastes, (This is usually the case.)
    • A foot holding the processor fan may be broken and not providing full cooling.

    There are many reasons such as. After checking all the possibilities, especially after renewing and testing the thermal paste, let us know. We will offer you different methods.

    The biggest reason why the problems are not solvedis if someone who says there is a problem with the GPU says; If I change the case, will the problem be solved? That's the whole point! The concepts are different! We should not go off topic.

    Can I change the pastes without voiding the warranty?

    Paste renewal is only done by Acer authorized personnel within the warranty period. If you do it, the warranty will be void.

    Outdated or corrupted drivers are among the most common causes of game stuttering. Keeping your drivers updated is crucial for optimal performance.
    However, abnormally high CPU usage can cause the computer to stutter, become unresponsive, or crash. If your computer seems to overwork its CPU even when high-intensity applications are closed, it may indicate a deeper problem.

    Warranty terms are different in different countries. In most changing the thermal paste doesn't void your warranty, unless you do it wrong and break something. Most people end up replacing the stock cooler with the Noctua though, which gives a decent cooling boost for not a lot of money. No need to remove the motherboard, just use the stock backplate and M3x10mm screws.

    Upgrade your hsf and / or case. These can be moved into a bigger better ventilated case.

    With your Predator Orion model PO3-650-90C model desktop that runs either the i7 -13700 or the F or the i5-500 or the F model cpu's (do not upgrade to the i9-13900 or the F models cpu's) as it will not work with this desktops bios and mobo.

    Note: make sure that you have also installed the last bios version R01-A4 that has the fix for the "INTEL Microcode 0x12B update for the Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU issue" as this fixes the Intel cpu vulnerabilities. And that you have Win-11 24H2 updated to its last OS build: 26100.4484.

    Also its essential to keep your 13th Gen cpu as cool as possible as the oem PO3-650 cpu cooler is not adequate enough, I suggest that you upgrade the cpu cooler to the Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black model cpu cooler as this will also improve cooling considerably and stop your desktop from:

    • "running into large stuttering on games that SHOULDN'T stutter. got to digging and found that my CPU was spiking at 105c"

    Also run your desktop with at least 32GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 normal ram and NOT XMP overclocked type ram, preferably 64GB (4x 16GB modules) or even 128GB (4x 32GB modules) as your desktop will run allot better with higher ram capacity in high end gaming.

    Doing all the above upgrades will make your desktop run at least 50% cooler and at temps of between 50°C-80°C in these games and not spike to 105°C. Try all the above hardware and software upgrades as all these are essential upgrades that you should do to the PO3-650 desktop for proper gaming operation,. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Not a good idea to have four modules, better to use two
