So i turned on "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" in the time and language setting on my acer nitro laptop. not knowing what it would do i did a restart on my laptop as it told me to. After the computer shuts down, the keyboard lights up but the screen remains black. Sometimes it turns on like normal but most of the time it doesn't and recently it refuses to turn on anymore. The keyboard lights up red, the fans spin, it gives a "beep" when i turn on the charger but not even the acer logo pops up. Did i accidentally corrupt my bios?

Perform a Hard Reset – Hold down the power button for 20 seconds to force a shutdown, then try turning it back on. Some Acer Nitro models have a battery reset pinhole on the bottom. If yours does, insert a paperclip and hold it for 4 seconds, then wait 5 minutes before reconnecting power and turning it on. If your laptop has been running hot, let it cool down before attempting to power it on.

If you manage to boot into Windows, update your graphics drivers to rule out software-related issues. Plug your laptop into an external display to check if the issue is with the screen or the system itself.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
