So, the laptops bios was updating and then after a restart, the screen didn't turn on, soft brick most probably because it is botting on fans are running, power indicator is functioning, everything is fine.

Now I have to do usb bios recovery but I don't know the exact name I have to use for my '.fd' file. I have platform.ini file alongside the fd file in the bootable usb as well, and any support is appreciated. If anyone can give me clear instructions that'd be really great! Specially the naming of this .fd file, which the system will use for recovering the bios.

A normal bios flash very rarely goes wrong, as and if you didn't interrupt the Insyde flash software bios flash the bios would have flashed 100% and rebooted to the OS login screen properly.

Unfortunately, its against Acer community rules to give any guides on bios recoveries or passwords recoveries or anything related to bios, as these are the communities rules, I suggest that you either take/send your laptop to your Acer Tech Support in your country and get the Acer technicians to recover the bios program in the bios chip, as this will not cost much, as its a basic reprogram with the proper flash tool of the bios chip, that Acer has or get a technician in your area to this for you. Good luck and hope this helps you out to recover you laptops bios.
