Uh, what should I enter in the field labeled 'Type...'? My speaker brand is 'Logitech Z120'. The system detects it, but it doesn't pick up my voice. Oh and i don't use any external mic and my laptop is Aspire AL14-51M

Uninstall the Intel Iris X Graphics driver completely from Device Manager and reboot the laptop, then reinstall the oem Intel Iris X Graphics version 31.0.101.4091 as this renews the audio in the laptop, as eventually windows update will update this graphics and its audio drivers to the most compatible and best drivers and your microphone should work perfectly. Also see the audio microphone settings in Win-11 and test your mic there for best settings. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

It's a usb-powered 3.5mm speaker. When you plug it in, did you select "line out" or "speaker out" in the realtek audio console.

You using a separate speaker that the laptop mic doesn't directly control will cause loud feedback sound. So you may have to enable acoustic echo cancellation.
