I have been running Windows 11 since 2023 on my Acer Aspire VN7-593G and I use an Apollo Twin X soundcard that connects via the Thunderbolt cable. Mysteriously a month ago my Apollo Twin X stopped connecting. I uninstalled and reinstalled all my Apollo Twin software as well as the Thunderbolt software. Sadly nothing has changed. I have been in contact with Universal Audio the manufacturers of the Apollo Twin X and after their troubleshooting they have cleared everything on their side and asked me to contact Acer and try find assistance. I will attach two screenshots that I sent to them as per their request where they are saying in Device Manager under System Devices there is no Thunderbolt Controller.

So if anyone can please help me with Thunderbolt Controller driver for my Acer. I'd greatly appreciate that

Thank you

Your Aspire VN7-593G does not have a Thunderbolt port, you mean you connected the Apollo Twin X soundcard to its Thunderbolt/USB-C port from the VN7-593G USB-C port is a port that Connects to type-C USB devices (e.g., USB type-C flash drive, USB type-C hard drives) and is not a thunderbolt port.

Try to refresh the driver or uninstall the driver in device manager > universal bus controller section the USB-C port driver, if that doesn’t work then get a USB-C to a USB 3.0 adapter cable and use that with the USB 3.0 ports of your VN7-593G laptop to connect to your Apollo Twin X soundcard. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve this problem.
