Bought a used laptop ES1-433-33KZ without a battery, it has intel 7th gen i3, the original battery was lost, according to online info/videos/stores it should be AC14B8K 4-Cells 15.2v battery, installed the battery but it won't charge, tried 2 different batteries but still won't charge, battinfo shows the battery information and health, plugged-in but no charging with critical power status alert, I'm a technician so I've forced the charging permission and the charging circuit outputs 12.6v which is for 3-cells batteries !

Before we try a 3-cell battery, are there 2 different models of this laptop ? The original battery is not listed on acer's store for this exact model.

What is the original battery?

Acer ES1-433-33KZ

The original battery for the Acer Aspire ES1-433-33KZ is a 4-cell Li-Polymer battery with a voltage of 15.2V or 15.4V and a capacity of 48Wh. The original charger is typically a 45W or 65W adapter with an output voltage of 19V and an output current of 2.37A or 3.42A. Here's the details of battery shipped for this model.

    Thank you sir..

So there are 2 different models..

Is there any way to link the correct battery to the laptop other than measuring a forced charge voltage ?

    Yes, Aspire ES1-433 and ES1-433G.

You can identify the correct battery for your laptop without measuring a forced charge voltage by checking the model number and specifications of your current battery. Google to above mentioned part number to check the availability of battery in your region. Also, make sure you use the correct charger.
