This will tell you if your battery has lost significant capacity over time.
Press Win + X, Command Prompt (Admin).
Type this command and press Enter:
    powercfg /batteryreport
A file called battery-report.html will be saved to your User folder.
Open the report and look for:
    Design Capacity (original capacity)
Full Charge Capacity (current max capacity)
If Full Charge Capacity is noticeably lower (e.g. <60% of Design), the battery is wearing out. If you upload that report here, I can help interpret it for you.

Sometimes a process gets stuck like Windows Search Indexing or Defender scanning.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Look for High CPU usage (anything using >10%), High Disk activity. End tasks that shouldn't be running, or investigate any that stand out.

If the battery report shows that the Full Charge Capacity is low, the battery may be at the end of its useful life. Batteries typically last 2–3 years with regular use before degrading.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
