[PHN16-71]Keyboard Backlit option missing from PredatorSense

So there is issue with my Predator Sense idk why its happening that Pulsar lighting opting which enable or on the keyboard light is missing like everything is working fine and just that option for light is removed but i am sure my keyboards backlit is not defective because when i open laptop backlit turns on and blinks then goes off so its working and i tried someother thirdparty softwares for backlit which enables the backlit like predator sense used to do so idk whats happening plz help me with this as customer care does not know anything about this.

i remember between fan control and advance setting there was a lighting section also.

1.Uninstall predator sense on apps

2. Go to acer website where you can download your drivers

3. Enter your serial number there

4. Scroll down till you see the appilcations

5.download the version you use

6.after you download. It extract the file (i prefer documents so i can access it easily)

7.install the "setup" with an application type NOT THE FOLDER. (this is not the predator sense app its his installer) if you have installed it will prompt to remove go for it and after it will remove press it again and it will install. (first it will remove when you have installed already and second press of setup it will install)

8. After you install it Go to your extracted files again and open the "UWP" Folder. Press all the file with "appx" type some of them will put error message because they are not for you and some are already installed and are newer version but the rest will install. Those are the needed.

9.The first appx with the random letters and numbers there do not launch just install it (thats is the predator sense app)

10.DO NOT TOUCH "AgentUninstaller" FOLDER you dont need to bother that one

11."AcerCCagent" "AcerDIagent" "AcerQAAgent" "AcerService" "AgentService" press each folder and install the "Application" type inside. It doesnt matter if it will say you already installed this or if it is not compatible to your laptop. Those will install are the ones your laptop lacks to complete

12.open "setup" Folder and install the 2 inside.

And your Done. Congratulations you just fixed your predator sense.

Mine now works perfectly

If you have done perfectly predator sense will restore and if not it will show the mode, fan, effect to be miui_undefined.

Hi, update BIOS with version 1.18 dated 2024/09/20 and upgrade Windows11 with version 24H2. Install PredatorSense from the Microsoft Store instead of Acer Support and make sure the power adapter is plugged in (not a USB-C charger) and that the battery is fully charged to 100% at all times.

Hi, in Windows enable Optional updates in Advanced settings "Check for updates" you should get the BIOS automatically. I have the same laptop with an i5 CPU and when I turned it on it updated BIOS, installed PredatorSense from the Microsoft Store and offered the Windows11 24H2 upgrade.

No solution exactly helped did everything correctly i'm on BIOS version 1.18 and firmware also updated as windows also but no fix for predator sense.

You can’t flash the same bios version again once its installed in your PHN16-71 model laptop. That is why the Insyde flash software has that Error Warning message!

With PredatorSense, make sure that you don't have Acer Applications app of Acer Care Center and Quick Access installed as they conflict with Predator Sense software, as that is what I've found on my PHN16-71 laptop as my PredatorSense app also got corrupted with the software only being triggered from the Win-11 > All section of the OS and the PredatorSense keyboard key didn’t trigger the PredatorSense also.

What you need to do is to uninstall all the Acer applications, then completely uninstalled PS from Control Panel > Uninstall a program > then uninstall > PredatorSense Config and PredatorSense Installer (see caption below) then reinstall the PHN16-71 PredatorSense version 5.0.1341 as a fresh install as afterwards PredatorSense will work and can be triggered in the keyboard perfectly, try that as it worked for me on my PHN16-71.
