l have a nitro 5 an515-58 (2022) which came with a pre installed windows 11 on 512G nvme ssd drive . I decided to reset my windows and after that a no bootable device message started showing on the screen. The drive would not show up in the bios. Tried all the tips l could get from youtube including reseating the drive on the pcie slot. Tried booting from a usb but the drive would not show up even if l used the latest rst drivers using the "load driver". Tested other ssd m2 ssd and still getting the same result.

l tested the slots with an Msata ssd and the drive seemed to work properly on both slots. What could be the problem on the laptop?

Any help from the community would be appreciated.

Hi, if you can still boot to BIOS, reset BIOS with F9 and F10 to save changes, check the RAM module(s), unseat RAM replace if you have spare RAM or just firmly reseat the module(s) in the slot(s. Reboot and if the same error, make a new bootable Windows Recovery USB disk on another PC that has the same Windows version. You can also try to interrupt the booting three times by holding the power button down 5 seconds after each boot but if the boot loader is corrupted that won't work. You can also try to do a Hard Reset: Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- terminals inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot. Acer Services in your country can reprogram the EEPROM (BIOS) for a small service fee. Mount the boot dive in an external USB case and copy your data to another PC before taking the laptop to Acer Services.
