Hi, there are a few possible reasons why your Predator laptop is showing a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz instead of 180Hz:
Check your Windows display settings and ensure the refresh rate is set to 180Hz. You can do this by right-clicking on the desktop → Display settings → Advanced display settings → Refresh rate.
Cable Compatibility – If you're using an external monitor, make sure you're using a DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 cable, as older cables might limit the refresh rate.
GPU Drivers – Outdated graphics drivers can sometimes prevent the system from reaching its full refresh rate. Try updating your NVIDIA or AMD drivers.
BIOS or Firmware – Some Predator laptops require a BIOS update to unlock the full refresh rate. Check Acer’s official support page for updates.

Go to Windows Settings, navigate to Display, then Advanced Display Settings, and ensure that 180Hz is selected.

Use a DisplayPort cable instead of HDMI, as some HDMI versions may not support 180Hz.

Install the latest graphics drivers from NVIDIA or AMD to ensure compatibility with higher refresh rates.

Open the on-screen display (OSD) menu on your monitor and check for refresh rate settings, making sure it's set to 180Hz if available.
