M3 Enduro 5GHz channel incompatible with Nikon Z9, need manual channel selection

I use the M3 Enduro to connect multiple Nikon Z9 cameras for instant live FTP of images, these are connected to the M3 on the 2.4Ghz network. I would like to connect to the 5Ghz network, as I get a lot of interference issues with other devices on 2.4ghz, but unfortunately the Z9 does not see the M3 in 5Ghz mode. After a bit of research and testing with another router (Netgear M6) it appears that the M3 uses a channel that the Z9 is not compatible with. I can use channel 48 on the M6 Nighthawk on 5Ghz

Is there anyway to manually select what channel the M3 uses for 5Ghz.

Many Thanks,

Richy

The only solutions are the drivers that your Acer Connect Enduro M3 5G Mobile Wi-Fi has on the Acer support page, there is nothing else that Acer supplies for problems that you are encountering, I would contact Acer in your country and ask for technical support in regards to this matter.

This Wi-Fi mobile 5G router as with all wireless equipment in theory, Acer's SignalScan technology should locate the fastest 4G or 5G service in your location and deliver that, but that assumes SIMO has a deal with those carriers. This device is designed to work with fifteen different 5G bands and nineteen 4G bands, so it should cover most scenarios, so in your case the 5G signal might not be available in your location. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

Thank you for your response, however I think you have interpreted my query incorrectly. I am having an issue with the WIFI 5ghz side, not the 5g cellular side of this router/hotspot.

I would like to ascertain how the router selects or how I can select a particular WIFI 5Gz Channel, so my device connect to the router in 5Ghz mode instead of the 2.4Ghz.

    Thanks
