Acer Aspire S32-1856 — what is the maximum refresh rate of the screen?

In this device, when I select a frequency of 75.03 Hz, the screen goes dark. On the official website, I could not find specific information about the supported screen frequency. But if Windows 11 offers this frequency, then the device should support it? Also, when increasing the brightness from 90 to 100%, the brightness decreases.

There are no exclamation marks in the device manager. Could updating the monitor driver help - I have a standard one from Microsoft. What monitor driver (ACER AIO) can I install for this device?

This model has an 31.5" 2560 x 1440 (QHD) Panel that supports 75Hz frequency. So the display might not fully support above 75Hz, even though Windows 11 offers the option.

As for the brightness issue— if increasing the brightness from 90% to 100% actually reduces brightness, check your display drivers via Device Manager and update them. Some displays have automatic brightness adjustments, or their backlight power management can behave unexpectedly. Sometimes, the screens dim at higher brightness levels to conserve energy.

If none of these solve the issue, resetting display settings might help. You can download the official Acer drivers for this model here Aspire S32-1856

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
