Aspire 7 Laptop Right hinge is broken, how do I get it fixed?

I bought this laptop 1.5 years ago. Since then, the right hinge has broken twice. I feel like I have been scammed after purchasing this product. After researching and reading several online articles, I found that many other users have faced the same issue.

It seems that the company used low-quality materials, making them responsible for this recurring problem. I believe the company should repair it free of cost, as it is clearly a result of poor manufacturing, not customer misuse.

I also want to know how to fix this issue permanently.

Reach out to Acer's customer service and explain the situation. Highlight that this is a recurring issue. They might offer a free repair or replacement, especially if the issue is recognized as a manufacturing defect.

Some users have successfully repaired hinges using strong adhesives like epoxy or super glue combined with baking soda for reinforcement. Others recommend replacing the hinge assembly entirely. You can find tutorials like this one or this guide for DIY fixes. However, if you're not comfortable with repairs, visiting a professional repair shop is a safer option. Once fixed, handle the laptop gently, avoid excessive force when opening or closing the lid, and consider using a protective case to minimize stress on the hinges.
