Predator sense not working on Predator Helios 16,PSSvc service missing.Is there proper fix for this?

Hi everyone,

I’m using an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (i7 14th Gen), and I’ve been having repeated issues with PredatorSense.

Yesterday, I completely reinstalled PredatorSense, and it worked fine for a while — data was showing, and the mode switch key on my keyboard worked as expected. But today, it’s not working again, and I noticed that the PSSvc service is missing from services.msc.

PredatorSense opens but doesn’t display any system data, and the mode switch key does nothing. I haven’t made any major changes to the system between yesterday and today.

Is there a proper fix for this? Anyone else experiencing the same on the Helios Neo 16? Appreciate any help.

Try to reinstall and follow these steps:

1. Download the free version of Revo uninstaller and uninstalled PredatorSense with it. It's important to let revo scan after uninstall because it'll find garbage files in registry that sense leaves behind and probably corrupts any new install. Let it clear those files.
2. Go to Acer's website and download Predator sense PredatorSense for your laptop. (If there's different version of PredatorSense available then try them all one by one and check which one work for you)
3. Extract folder and run Setup.exe. After installing don't open it just follow below steps
4. Run Command prompt as Administrator
5. type in the following and press enter (without the quotation marks): ".\lodctr.exe /R"
6. Go back to the folder where you extracted Nitrosense
7. Go into "PredatorSense V3.1" folder or there would be similar folder which should have APPXBUNDLE file type find it for example Look for a subfolder named "UWP" or  "PredatorSenseUWP".
8. Run APPXBUNDLE file
9. After that, PredatorSense will be immediately launched.
