What need to be done to make my ACER Aspire ONE 722 run faster

Hello everyone. I was trying to use my old ACER Aspire ONE 722 just for simple stuff. I have more than enough bandwidth. I've replaced the battery, and restored it. So, it hardly has anything on the hard drive. It is painfully slow. I know it's old, but shouldn't be at least as fast as it was when I purchased it ? It has Windows 10 Home installed now. Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thank you.

Hi, this is a Window7 netbook that Acer eventually discontinued in 2013 and Microsoft stopped W7 support in 2020. There is nothing you can do with the old AMD C-50 APU processor and slow DDR3 RAM with a speed of 1333MHz, maximum 4GB. Support for Windows10 will stop after 3 months and I recommend migrating to a Windows11 laptop or installing Linux on this netbook.

How to Speed Up Acer Aspire One:-
    Disabling Startup Applications.
    Disabling Performance Options.
    Enabling Manual Services.
    Disabling McAfee.
    Turning Off Sounds.
    Installing More RAM.
    Installing Windows Updates.
    Replacing Outdated Software.
Opening multiple browser tabs simultaneously can also reduce the speed of your Acer laptop because it is difficult for the browser to load or deal with too many items at the same time. Therefore, you need to avoid opening too many tabs or browsers in a short time.

The Acer Aspire ONE 722 is compatible with Windows 10, but its performance may be limited due to its older hardware. It originally came with Windows 7 and has an AMD C50 processor, which can handle Windows 10 but may struggle with its resource demands
