I just got a brand-new Acer Nitro V, this is the first time I've booted it up, and within the hour my keyboard stops working. I was using my external one hooked up with the USB and it wasn't working, so I tried typing with the laptop keyboard and it also wasn't working. I tried restarting it several times and shut it down and booting up it. By pressing buttons i found out that only the function keys are working, but now I'm locked out! And even the on-screen keyboard isn't working! They all work separately but aren't putting any letters down!

    Hi,

Press the Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list of options.

    2. Expand the Keyboards category.

    3. Right-click on your keyboard and select Uninstall device.

    4. Restart your computer.

    5. Windows will automatically reinstall the keyboard driver.

I actually figured it out! The reason none of the keys were working is because I filter keys& sticky keys on in the settings! If you had my problem, You can try typing by holding down the fn key and then the letter you want to very slowly type until you can get to the settings!
