Even though your ANV15-51 has a Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C port, not all Thunderbolt ports support USB Power Delivery (PD) input especially on gaming laptops like the Nitro series.

In the case of your laptop the thunderbolt 4 is supported for data up to 40 Gbps and video output (DisplayPort 1.4), but USB-C charging (Power Delivery input) is not supported.

So, the USB-C/Thunderbolt port is output only for charging external devices like high-speed external SSDs or connecting Output to a 4K/60Hz monitor via USB-C DisplayPort. You can use thunderbolt docks for data & video, not charging.

Since USB-C charging is not supported, your only option to charge the laptop is to use the original Acer charger. Don’t use USB-C chargers, even high-wattage ones, they won’t charge or might damage the port over time if forced with adapters.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
