I want to insert additional 16 GB ram to my A315-56-35XE. As i have seen, there is 4gb ddr4 unreplaceable and unremovable ram and one slot for additional RAM on motherboard.
So can I insert 16 GB RAM?

Yes, You can increase the RAM to 20GB by adding a 16GB DDR4 module in the available slot. Ensure the new RAM matches the existing 4GB module in terms of CAS latency (CL), voltage, frequency, profile, and DDR type. Use CPU-Z to check the specifications of your current RAM. If you're unable to locate the details, take a screenshot of the SPD tab in CPU-Z and share it. I can then recommend a compatible RAM module.

Yes, you can insert an additional 16 GB RAM into your Acer Aspire A315-56-35XE. The laptop has 4 GB of non-removable DDR4 RAM soldered onto the motherboard and one user-accessible slot for upgrades. The maximum supported RAM for this model is 20 GB, so adding a 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM module to the available slot is compatible.

Make sure to choose a DDR4 SODIMM module with a frequency of 2666 MHz for optimal performance.
