My Acer Nitro 5 AN515 laptop starts then stops after a few seconds. This is a 2 years old laptop. I have tried:

1. Buying a new power cable & adapter

2. Disconnecting the battery and starting directly from power cable

3. Disconnecting & reconnecting ssd and hdd

4. Disconnecting & reconnecting ram slots

5. Holding down the power button for 1 minute between each of these tasks.

Now I am thinking it is a motherboard issue. Can anyone please help me?

Hi, try a Hard Reset and replace the RAM module(s): Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the round CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- terminals inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds and replace the RAM module(s) if you have a spare RAM module, after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.
