I have a Aspire AL14-31P (Aspire Lite 14)

Updated to the latest Windows 11 24H2.

According to the Acer Website this laptop should have a backlit keyboard.

From what I could find the Fn + F8 key should be the keys I use to turn the backlit keyboard on or off. But on me keyboard that is volume down. None of my F keys have a bulb like picture on it.

Does this laptop have a backlit keyboard? If so, how do I turn it on if it doesn't have a button on F keys?

    Check the function keys behavior:
Completely power off your computer by holding the Power button down for 10 seconds.
Press the Power button to turn the computer on.
Tap the F2 key when the Acer screen appears.
Enter the BIOS. Highlight the Main tab, then arrow down to Function Key Behavior and press Enter. Set it as Function Keys.
Save and exit. Boot into windows, press and hold down the Fn key and tap the F8 key or only the F8 key to turn on/off the backlight keyboard.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
