Can I add 16GB or 32GB RAM to my Acer Aspire 3 (A315-23)?

I have an Acer Aspire 3 (A315-23-R0GK) with 8GB RAM. I received a DDR4-3200 SODIMM 16GB kit that has two 16GB pieces.

Can I install one or both of these in my laptop? I'm not sure if I have DDR4 or 3200, or how many memory slots there are and whether they are soldered.

Not sure if this is relevant but in my settings it says I have this: AMD Athlon Silver 3050U with Radeon Graphics 2.30 GHz.

Your Acer Aspire 3 (A315-23-R0GK) has 8GB of RAM, with 4GB soldered to the motherboard and 4GB in a removable slot. This setup means that your laptop has only one RAM slot available for upgrades.

The laptop supports a maximum of 12GB RAM (4GB soldered + 8GB in the removable slot). your laptop cannot utilize more than 12GB of RAM.

To upgrade, you can install one 8GB DDR4 SODIMM module from your kit into the available slot, replacing the existing 4GB module. This will give you the highest supported RAM capacity of 12GB for your laptop.

No, the Acer Aspire A315-23 supports a maximum of 12GB RAM. It typically comes with 4GB of onboard memory, and an additional 8GB module in the removable slot. That is what you have now.
