Dear Sir,

My notebook (SFG14-73) encounters a problem related to the pxiTpService issue. The system crash (blue screen) one time, and always have several problems in the event report. The service pxiTpService, such as below. And everytime I restarta the NB it will appear the issue of pxiTpService issue. My NB also usually running slowly…

I turn off this service and it seems this problem is fixed. From the event report, it looks the service or driver causing this problem.

Is there any update to fix this issue, or the only way is to turn off this service?

Thanks.

    @jesseho

    The PxiTpService is a service related to the Acer touchpad, responsible for managing touchpad functionalities and multimedia controls. it's a legitimate system process, but can lead to high CPU usage, critical errors in the event viewer, and even touchpad malfunctions.

    For now as a temporary solution i have killed the process in task-manager. The touchpad will still functions properly but all the other multimedia buttons like(play/pause, volume control etc) will stop.
    You can also open Windows Services and Stop the PXitpservice, change the Startup type to Manual or trigger start in Properties and click on Apply. Also check Startup programs in Task Manager if there is PXitpservice listed, disable that too.

    I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

    Hi, it is a known bug in the program, I recommend you change the Service Startup type from automatic to manual-trgger start and click on apply. Certain media options won't work well after that but that is all you can do till Acer will release a fix.
