I want to enable virtualization in my laptop but I don’t see the option in the bios to enable, when I check in the system info it says virtualization is running but I am not not able to enable intel Vtx in VMware.

Is it hidden or locked in bios?

Any solutions?

What is the full model number and the windows os version installed on your Aspire 3 AXXX-XXX=XX

Ensure your CPU supports virtualization technology (VT-x for Intel, AMD-V for AMD). You need a 64-bit CPU.
Ensure you have at least 4 GB of RAM.

The CPU and/or motherboard of some Acer Aspire 3 models might not natively support virtualization technologies like Intel VT-x or AMD-V. Use the Intel Processor Identification Utility or a similar tool for AMD to verify if your CPU supports virtualization.

    Check for BIOS/UEFI Settings:
Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the designated key (usually F2, Delete, or F10) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup. Navigate to the CPU configuration, advanced settings, or security tabs, looking for terms like Intel Virtualization Technology, "VT-x, SVM, or simply "Virtualization. If found, enable the relevant option and save the changes before exiting the BIOS/UEFI.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
