Hi everyone,

I recently bought the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-72) and I'm noticing coil whine, especially when the laptop is plugged in and set to Ultra Performance Mode. The noise is faint during idle (only audible when I place my ear near the keyboard), but becomes noticeably louder under load or high power settings.

I know coil whine is common in gaming laptops, but I'm wondering:

• Has anyone else experienced this on the PHN16-72?
• Is Acer aware of this issue on this model?
• Is there any BIOS update or firmware fix planned or available to reduce the noise?
