(Help!) My Acer Aspire Lite Al14 31P 35XW has been randomly shutting down

Hello, so my brand new laptop has been randomly shutting down after 2 weeks of purchase, After my laptop shuts down i tried opening it again and after 2 seconds of booting up it boots down again up to 2 times then it shows windows recovery blue screen and bitlocker recovery key. I suspect it might be a software problem or hard drive problem so i tried reinstalling windows and running CHKDSK but it's still the same issue.

Before the issue, i was playing on my laptop the charger plugged in and almost at 100%, after i finished playing i removed the charger and ready to set my laptop aside and then the issue started (this was always like 80% of the time the scenario before issue starts)

I also saw this at event log always before my laptop shutsdown,

The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load.
Device: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_461D&SUBSYS_17731025&REV_00\3&11583659&0&20
Status: 0xC0000365

Is this somehow connected to all the random shutdowns? I will try to troubleshoot and if troubleshooting doesn't work i will take this laptop back to the store.

First make sure that you have the Aspire AL14-31P last bios version 1.08 installed and all Win-11 up to date to its last OS build: 26100.3476.

As the error message driver\wudfrd failed to load is associated with the Windows User-Mode Driver Framework (UMDF). This error typically occurs due to issues with device drivers, especially after upgrading to a new version of Windows.

    Example

The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15EB&SUBSYS_7C701462&REV_06\61BB3C4A06C9A00000

    Steps to Resolve the Issue

    1. Update Windows

Ensure your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Updates often include fixes for driver-related issues1.

Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates

    2. Enable Windows Driver Foundation Service

The Windows Driver Foundation service is essential for drivers. If it's disabled, you might encounter this error1.

    services.msc > Windows Driver Foundation – User-mode Driver Framework > Properties > Startup type: Automatic > Start

    3. Disable Hard Disk Hibernation

Disabling hard disk hibernation can resolve conflicts that cause this error1.

Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Hard disk > Turn off hard disk after: Never

    4. Update Incompatible Drivers

Identify and update any incompatible drivers using Device Manager1.

devmgmt.msc > Right-click driver with exclamation mark > Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software

    5. Reinstall USB Controllers

Reinstalling USB controllers can also help resolve this issue1.

Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers > Right-click USB controller > Uninstall device > Restart computer

By following these steps, you can effectively resolve the driver\wudfrd failed to load error and ensure your system runs smoothly.

Hello, thank you for all the responses but i think i already found the problem. I ran all the troubleshooting steps like checking ram and disk it still shutsdown, but it stops when i plug in the charger so im thinking this is a hardware issue regarding the battery, i will try to now contact nearest acer branch in my area to get my battery replaced under warranty and do more testing, thank for all your help trying to help me.

I also forgot to mention that my laptop was manufactured at January 2024 and is a stock laptop hence the battery problems, i ran the powercfg /batteryreport and this what popped up is this normal where on the Battery info is currently being displayed or not.
