laptop only works when plugged in and battery icon remains at 95% everytime.
I got a new laptop a few months ago, but now I cant use it unless its not connected to charger. It turns off immediately when the charger is disconnected and the battery icon remains at 95% no matter what.
I tried to make a calibration using the acer nitro software but it never gets to the second stage (the one that will discharge the battery once its fully charge, I believe), it seems like its not charging at all.
Then, I ran the powercfg/batteryreport command but everything looks fine to me. I also checked drivers a bit (because I dont know much about them) but nothing seems strange.
I dont know what to do now, please help.

You may try a power reset. To reset your Acer laptop using the battery reset pinhole, first ensure the laptop is turned off and unplugged from the AC adapter. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop, usually marked with a battery icon. Using a small paperclip or a similar object, press and hold the reset button inside the pinhole for about 5 seconds. After releasing the button, wait for approximately 5 minutes before plugging in the AC adapter and powering on your laptop. This process temporarily disconnects and reconnects the internal battery, which can help resolve power and battery-related issues.
If no change, reinstall your battery driver, open Device Manager, expand "Batteries", right-click "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery", and select "Uninstall device". Then, restart your computer, and Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.

Send your new laptop back to Acer Tech Support in your country, as this problem is related with the EC or Chipset chips that needs either resetting with a hard reset or the mobo needs to be changed, as your laptops mobo has either a a faulty EC or Chipset chips which Acer will not fix but change the mobo for a new one. Do NOT open the laptop as the warranty might be voided. Good luck.
