Hi have the nitro AN515-58 and the charger that came with it is absolutely a brick, its awkward, its heavy, and its made by Chicony however, the plug only sits in the port it seems, it disconnects and falls out constantly. I can never move it from its spot or it just falls out. I tried pushing it in but im afraid to break something, nothing clicks. Is this normal?? This is quite annoying. I seen other videos where the chargers are different, so I am wondering if i got the right charger. Mine is straight where as others have chargers that curve at the point where it goes to the port. Something like this, the charger is a20-330p1a

The Nitro AN515-58 laptops DC_IN port needs the adapter barrel plug to be inserted fully, its a two step insertion of the barrel plug, so make sure that you have inserted the round adapter barrel plug fully like shown below, also and if you have done that, and the barrel plug is still lose, then the DC_IN port surrounding negative clip has been pushed in and it needs to be spread out so that it grabs the round barrel plug when its inserted, so you need to do that, if that clip is broken then the DC_IN port needs to be replaced by tech near you.

If the DC_IN port is damage it needs to be replaced

If you want a smaller and lighter charger then use a USB-C type charger, the only suitable USB-C charger is the SlimQ 330W DC+USB C Charger which is an adequate charger for these gaming laptops with a 2800W plus adapters that the AN515-58 has.
