Hi, I bought this Acer Nitro ANV16-41 new and I had this problem since day 1. When I'm on calls, every time my interlocutor starts speaking, the audio doesn't start working for the first 5 to 7 seconds making it impossible to have calls. I tried to update drivers, changing settings, asking AI but I can't get to the bottom of this. Never had a problem of this nature with any other device so it's frustrating that I'm having this problem with a brand new laptop that seems to have installed all the lates drivers and updates.
Anyone know what can cause this audio issue?

You need to completely uninstall the Realtek AMD and Nvidia graphics and audio with DUU uninstaller in Safe Mode and then reinstall the oem Acer drivers from the ANV16-41 Acer support page and let windows update all these drivers to their latest version and most compatible version for this laptop. As the audio in the ANV16-41 laptop is dependent on all these drivers and also you should look at the software part of the Zoom, Gmeet, Teams webinars if they are setup properly and if you have their latest versions. Also use a sound enhancer like FXSound enhancer as that also assist the audio in these Nitro laptops.

You can also update or reinstall audio drivers via Device Manager. Expand Sound, video, and game controllers, right-click your audio device, and select Update driver. If updating doesn’t work, uninstall the driver and restart your laptop to reinstall it automatically. Run the audio troubleshooter by going to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, selecting Playing Audio, and following the prompts
