Can I connect 2 external monitors to my Aspire AV14-52P and if so how?

I had assumed it would be possible - there are 2 USB ports and I thought one would support display but I have tried both and neither seems to - is there any way I can connect two monitors? i need to do this for my work and it is a real struggle with just the small laptop screen and just one large monitor. Grateful of any help - but looks like I bought the wrong laptop without knowing. Fingers crossed someone can help. I was wondering if I can do it through one one HDMI port somehow.

Depending on the capabilities of your device and monitor you can connect dual monitor by using different ports.

You can use the Thunderbolt 4 port can on your laptop to connect up to two 4K 60hz DisplayPort or HDMI monitors through a compatible dock or an adapter.

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port can be used to connect to a monitor, especially if the monitor supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or if you use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter. DP Alt Mode allows the USB-C port to transmit DisplayPort signals, enabling you to connect a monitor with a DisplayPort or HDMI cable (using an adapter if necessary).

USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports can support high resolutions, including 4K at 60Hz, and even higher resolutions and refresh rates depending on the capabilities of your device and monitor.

You can use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter or a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect your monitor.

here's the details of the output port on your laptop,

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Just some further advice on what your Aspire AV14-52P laptop can have in as far as two monitors setup is concerned, your AV14-52P has a 1x Thunderbolt™ 4 and a 1x HDMI 2.1 port with HDCP support for display out capabilities, with the TBT4 port you can connect a Daisy Chain Monitors for a Multi-Display Setup which is one continuous image that is projected onto two monitors while with the HDMI 2.1 port port, you need to get a 2x HDMI 2.1 port adapter, so you can connect two monitor, which will give you the same image on both monitors, that is the difference between the two ports and their functionality in your laptop.

Hi, Nanoreview suggests No DisplayPort for the AV14-52 model (without p) the 2023 model shows 2 USB-C ports without screen symbols (just the bolts) next to the port also suggesting no Video Out DP Alt-mode. Acer Aspire Vero 14 (AV14-52): full specs, tests and user reviews. If your model does not show the USB screen symbol (see picture) and you tried connecting a monitor with a DP cable that did not work, TBT4 USB-C ports for this model probably does not support Video Out. Best to get a USB3.0 active graphics adapter with 2 HDMI connectors that support 2x 4K monitors at 60 Hz in Extended mode: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-DisplayLink-Graphics-Outputs-Compatible/dp/B094G5JLNC?th=1
