Hi guys,

Good news! Just got my new upgrade laptop recently and would like to do some customizations, any ideas on how to change (not turn off) the boot sound?

I found some online tutorials on how to have it turn off or switch the logo, but it does seem to have a way of changing the sound to another?

Anyone have any advice or ideas?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Jason

    Hi Jason,
To change the boot sound on the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71/72), you can use the PredatorSense application,
Open the PredatorSense application on your laptop.
Click on the settings gear icon located at the top right corner of the PredatorSense window.
Look for the option to enable or disable the system boot animation and sound.
Toggle the setting to your preference.
Restart or power on your laptop to apply the changes.

    Hi Puraw,

    Thank you for reponding.

The PredatorSense application allows for customizing the logo and turning the sound on or off only, there's no option to change the sound file to another audio.

I'm guessing it's something more like a sound file in the OEM directory or a registry edit, if possible…

If the audio was with the BIOS ROM than it's likely it cannot be changed this way.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Jason

PredatorSense often provides an option to enable or disable the startup sound, but typically does not allow users to replace the default sound with a custom audio file.

While PredatorSense might not offer this feature, some users have explored alternative methods to change the startup sound, such as modifying BIOS settings or using third-party software.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
