When I plug the charger, the indicator turns orange for awhile then become blue. When I click the power button, the indicator turns off, become orange, then blue again, but it still does not boot up. I already tried pushing a pin inside the battery reset pinhole.

I donno what happened. I just used it the other day.

How can it be fixed?

If your laptop is new and under Acer warranty have your ANV15-xx sent to Acer Tech Support. This laptop must have either a frozen EC or a Chipset chip that need resetting by doing a hard reset, if not then its common in these gaming laptops that their main power rail has shorted and causing such problems or at worse the laptops mosfet that protects the 19V power current to the dedicated gpu is fried and your dedicated gpu is also fried because its incurred a high 19V current and then you will need a new mobo if you want a dedicated gpu for gaming, as you can use this laptop with the cpu graphics only, but this is uncommon especially in a new laptop..

Don’t stress out as yet😀, as your laptop might only need a Hard Reset to make it function 100% or it might only have a fried mosfet or a capacitor that is shorted in the main power rail and if these chips are replaced your laptop will work 100% and boot properly.

Hard Reset - Remove eleven (11) screws from the base cover, carefully pry the base cover starting from the upper edges to release the upper latches, continue to release the remaining latches on the left, right, and bottom sides. Then grasp and remove the base cover from the system.

Disconnect the main battery cable from the mobo and then take the main battery out. then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and then short this batteries + & - pins at the mobo plug (as shown at A below) and then take the ran out.

Leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything, if you have 2x ram modules, only connect 1x ram module and alternate the two ram modules and see if its not the ram that is faulty, as the laptop should turn on and boot properly.
