My laptop got stolen, can I find it by using S/N?

Or is there another way I track it down, please help me!

    Report the theft to the police and provide them with the serial number. This helps in identifying your laptop if recovered.

    Before worrying about get back your stolen laptop First Protect your details The reason people stealing others electronic machine is to get “individual data “ your Data has more value which can be compare to One human life

    First follow these steps :

    1. Remove stolen laptop’s access to your Personal Account

    Sign in into any sensitive accounts (e.g., bank accounts, online e-mail, PayPal, eBay, iTunes, IM,Shopping card , Google drives , now a days we all have youtube account with minimum 100 subscribers etc.) and change your password immediately

    Dont wait just go to your room or safe place and turn your mobile data on and do so . Dont change your password from public WiFi .

    2. Remove Stolen laptop’s access from your password and contact details

    If you have any other sensitive information on your computer (Like bank pin number , credit card number ,cell phone number (Contacts) Make sure to Notify company in-charge of those account .

    Now a days we can block the credit card and debit card by yourself so you can first do it or better change the card password immediately also check the similar other id you have any passwords stored in the laptop try to change it and think trice to cross check have you used it anywhere else.

    3. Inform acer about incident immediately

    If your computer had confidential company information, government-related information, or stored personal information of other people, you should notify your employer immediately.

    Note that u need to have the serial number or Model number so it can be identified. If you do not have records of this information, contact your laptop company to see if they can provide you with this information. or you can login to your account or check your invoice which certainly have these number except product keys

    Contact acer customer care using below link via online chat and inform them about the theft, providing the serial number so they can flag it in their system and also ask them if anything else can be done to restore your laptop.

    Hi, in addition to the above, if you have a Windows Microsoft Account you can change the password online and remove the laptop from your profile.

    Yes, that's what I meant by saying I need to get back! And I thank you very much for all of this.

    I already reported the theft to the police, and now I'll do the other steps you mentioned.

    Check if Find My Device on Windows was enabled, and log in to your Microsoft account to locate it. Report the serial number (S/N) to authorities when filing a theft report. Notify Acer support and provide the S/N so they can flag it if someone contacts them for support. If tracking options through Acer or other software are available, inquire about them. Change all passwords linked to accounts on the stolen laptop to protect your data
