Keyboard issue with the Swift SP113-31. Keyboard doesn't get an input from some of the keys.

It is nigh impossible to find a usa motherboard for an SP111-31 with the header for a HDD/SDD, so i recently got a board from an SP113-31. Everything working great after quite an experience searching for drivers.

The keyboard doesn't get an input from some of the keys, so I can't even re-map them. I'm thinking it's because the keyboards for SP113-31 all seem to have extra keys and are Nordic, German, or from the UK. Unfortunately, I can't get the seller to tell me what machine it came out of. Is there any way to use the UUID or Serial to see the original configuration similar to a Dell Service Code?

Thank you, but that shows that it is for the SP111. The motherboard I've currently installed identifies as SP113. Keyboard works fine with the SP111 so I'm assuming there may be a slight difference with the wiring between the two (although literally everything else including the connection is the same). The right arrow, for example, types "x" currently.

Is there a wiring diagram somewhere? Thanks.

The SP311-31 from 2020 is different than the SP113-31 from 2017. Likely the keyboard cables are different. I do see that both model series came with the same CPU options though, so they might be similar, even though of a different size. If you plug an external keyboard in, does it work right?

Yes it does. I did not notice the year of manufacture difference. I've not had much luck finding info on the 113s. I managed to locate a keyboard for the 113 and it is on order. Thank you!

From what I can discover, Acer only did one of the 13" models in that particular Spin series, which is likely why you are having a harder time finding parts for it. They did a bunch of different 11" and even a couple of 14" versions…

Dummy me just now realizing the 2nd and 3rd digit are screen size. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, they often use that, though they seem to change the naming conventions every few years. SF is Swift, SP is Spin, next number is the series, so Swift 1 or Spin 1, then screen size. After the first dash is the definition of what chipset is used and the year of manufacture, but that is a lot less consistent. 4x is usually AMD, 3x low end Intel, 5x is the higher end Intel, etc. And of course, none of that is published anywhere…
