Use Revo Uninstaller (free version) software. You can download it from Chrome and use it to uninstall the NitroSense app along with its files and leftovers, such as registry entries. This app is capable of finding leftover files by searching, so use it and then reinstall the NitroSense app

To find leftover files from an already uninstalled app using Revo Uninstaller, follow these steps:

    1. Open Revo Uninstaller: Launch the application on your computer.
    2. Use Forced Uninstall: Since the app is already uninstalled, you can utilize the "Forced Uninstall" feature. This allows you to manually search for leftovers of programs that were previously removed.
    3. Enter Program Name or Path: In the Forced Uninstall section, input the name of the uninstalled program or its installation path. Revo will scan for any related files and registry entries.
    4. Review Results: After the scan, Revo will present a list of leftover files and registry entries associated with the program. You can review these items carefully.
    5. Select and Delete Leftovers: Choose the items you want to delete (you can select all if you're confident) and click the Delete button. By default, deleted files are sent to the Recycle Bin for safety.
    6. Confirm Deletion: Ensure you check the items before confirming deletion to avoid removing anything important accidentally.

Completely uninstall Nitro sense through Control Panel > Uninstall a program and then make sure that you have the last bios version installed for your V15 (whatever model it is) then install the last PS afterwards.

If your NitroSense installation on your Acer Nitro V 15 failed, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software, ensuring you have the correct version and prerequisites installed, and checking for any conflicting software or services.

    1. Ensure Correct Version and Prerequisites:
Download the correct version: Go to the official Acer website and download the NitroSense software specifically for your Acer Nitro V 15 model.
Check for prerequisites: Some versions of NitroSense require specific Visual C++ Redistributable packages. Download and install the x64 versions of Visual C++ Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019 if needed.
Reinstall NitroSense: After downloading, run the NitroSense setup file.
    2. Uninstall and Reinstall NitroSense:
Use a dedicated uninstaller: Use Revo Uninstaller (free version) to completely uninstall NitroSense and any related leftovers.
Uninstall through Windows: Go to Settings > Installed Apps and uninstall all programs related to NitroSense.
Restart your computer: After uninstalling, restart your computer before attempting to reinstall.
    3. Check for Conflicting Software or Services:
      Check for conflicting software:
If you have other software that might interfere with NitroSense, try temporarily disabling them and see if the issue is resolved.
      Enable necessary services:
Some users have reported that disabling services related to UWP app installation can prevent NitroSense from working. Ensure services like "Capability Access Manager Service" are enabled.
      Check for Windows Updates:
Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as outdated versions can cause compatibility issues.
    4. Other Troubleshooting Steps:
      Rebuild Windows performance counters:
Open the Windows command prompt as Administrator and run the command sc config perfcounter /set binpath= "C:\Windows\System32\PerfCounter.exe".
      Check for BIOS updates:
Outdated BIOS can cause compatibility issues. Check the Acer website for BIOS updates for your model.
      Try a system restore:
If you have a recent system restore point, try restoring to that point to see if the issue is resolved.

Start by downloading the correct version of the software from the official Acer Support page. Ensure you select the Nitro Sense application that is specific to your laptop model. Next, right-click the downloaded installation file and select Run as Administrator to grant the necessary permissions for proper installation. If the issue persists, visit the Acer Support page to update your BIOS and chipset drivers, as outdated firmware can sometimes cause incompatibility issues. Additionally, if previous installation attempts left behind corrupted files, uninstall any partially installed versions of Nitro Sense, delete any leftover files from the installation directory, and restart your laptop before attempting the installation again.
