Hi, if I were you, I wouldn't bother installing Acer Care Center, it is poorly written, frequently stalls and interferes with Windows Update and Modern Standby. All the ACC options are also available in Windows11, you don't need it, and it clutters up your recourses as it runs at the background. The newer Acer Sense program is better.

Do a Ctrl+ALt+Del open the Task manager find the Acer Care Center and End the Task and relaunch the application. If this doesn't work try Uninstalling the application and reinstalling the version for your device from its Support page Software download section on Acer's website.

If Acer Care Center is still not opening after reinstalling, try manually starting the ACCStd service in Task Manager, or check if the service is running in Windows Services, and if not, attempt to start it manually.

    1. Check if the ACCStd service is running:
      Open Task Manager: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
Go to Services: Navigate to the "Services" tab.
Find ACCStd: Look for a service named "ACCStd" or "Acer Care Center Service".
Check Status: If the service is not running, click on it and then click "Start".
      Check in Windows Services:
Open the Services app (search for "Services" in the Start menu).
Find "Acer Care Center Service" or "ACCStd".
If it's not running, right-click it and select "Start".
    2. Manually Run ACCStd through Task Manager (if service doesn't start):
      Open Task Manager: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
Click "File", then "Run new task" .
Browse to ACCStd: Navigate to the Acer Care Center installation directory (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\Care Center).
Select ACCStd.exe: Click on the ACCStd.exe file and then click "Open".
Check if the application opens: If the Acer Care Center opens, then the issue is likely with the service starting automatically.
    3. Consider a Hard Reset (if the laptop won't turn on):
Turn off the laptop and disconnect all external devices .
Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable) .
Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds .
Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then turn on the laptop .
    4. Check for Updates and Contact Acer Support:
Check for updates: Go to the Acer support site and download the latest version of Acer Care Center for your specific model.

Start by checking that your Windows operating system is up to date. Navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and look for any pending updates. Next, try running Acer Care Center as an administrator by right-clicking its shortcut on your desktop or Start menu and selecting Run as Administrator, which ensures it has the necessary permissions to open. If the issue persists, download the correct version of Acer Care Center from the official Acer Support page and reinstall it.

Is the service running? ACC doesn't have a program icon in the start menu, it just has a status icon on the taskbar when the service is running. It should be ACC Service…
