My Laptop is Predator Helios Neo 16 PHN16-72
Disabling Intel RST feature on BIOS even the driver are installed causes Windows 11 into BSOD, I assumed that Intel RST causes my second NVMe which is D: (Teamgroup T-Force G50) bugged (often undetectable and rarely detectable even causes Disk Management not responding) when connected into second NVMe slot inside (but when connect externally, the NVMe works normally).
According to one of Acer service center's technician in Bali, he said to me that Intel RST is some kind of important feature for my laptop. Using list of NVMe from Acer still detectable. He also said that some NVMe brand didn't works. So far, the technician said to me that Samsung and WD are recommended brand for Predator Helios Neo 16 PHN16-72 (Lexar are unconfirmed but Lexar NVMe are detectable in BIOS and Disk Management).
My Question is
- Is it recommended to enable Intel RST feature or else?
- Is it possible to disable Intel RST feature without causing BSOD (Inaccessible Boot Device)?
- Is Samsung and WD's NVMe such as 990 Pro, 990 Evo Plus, Blaxk 850X are Intel RST-Ready?
