Hi, there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery sign), stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. This will reset the battery. Plug in the power adapter and try to start your laptop again.

Start by checking the power source to ensure it's properly plugged into a working outlet and that the charger is securely connected. If the laptop still doesn’t power on, perform a power reset by disconnecting the charger, removing the battery (if it's removable), and holding the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then reconnect the battery and charger before trying to turn it on again. Inspect the power port, charger, and cable for any visible damage. If your laptop has a removable battery, try turning it on with just the charger connected to identify if the issue lies with the battery.

You probably need a new charger if no charger plug voltage or light. Google search your full model number (for example) A315-44 and charger for sellers who ship to your region.

If your flat laptop isn't turning on, start by checking the power supply and battery, then try a hard reset and see if it boots into safe mode. If those steps don't work, examine the display, remove external devices, check for overheating, and consider hardware issues.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:-

    1. Check the Power Supply and Battery:
      Power Cable:
Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.
      AC Adapter:
Verify that the AC adapter is functioning correctly. Try plugging it into a different outlet to see if the issue is with the outlet itself.
      Battery:
If your laptop is running on battery, check the battery health status and try charging it for a while.
      Charging Indicator:
Look for any lights or indicators on the laptop or AC adapter that might indicate a charging problem.
    2. Perform a Hard Reset:
Unplug Everything: Disconnect the power cable and remove any external devices (USB drives, etc.).
Hold Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to a minute to completely drain any residual power.
Reconnect Power: Reconnect the power cable and try turning the laptop on again.
    3. Check for Display Issues:
      External Monitor:
If the screen is blank but the laptop seems to be on, try connecting it to an external monitor to see if the display is the problem.
      Beep Codes:
Listen for any beep codes during startup, as these can indicate specific hardware issues.
    4. Remove External Devices:
Unplug Everything: Remove any external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, etc.) and try turning the laptop on again.
    5. Check for Overheating:
Fan: Ensure the laptop's fan is working and not overheating.
Cooling: Allow the laptop to cool down for a while if it has been running for a long time.
    6. Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart: Restart the laptop and repeatedly press the F8 or F12 key (or the key that corresponds to your laptop's boot menu) during startup to access the boot menu.
Select Safe Mode: Choose "Safe Mode" from the boot menu.
Troubleshoot: If the laptop boots into Safe Mode, you can try uninstalling recently installed programs or drivers that might be causing the issue.
