Hey y'all! I have an Acer Aspire 5750G, and I just switched from HDD to SSD, it's a brand-new SSD, I created a usb-flashdrive to install Win 10, and as I turn it on, it shows the acer logo and then a text shows up and it says that there's no bootable device. In the bios I tried to change the format from UEFI to Legacy, but there is no option for that in the boot menu. Can anybody help me with it, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Ui.: I also changed the boot to the USB-flash.

    This 2011 model comes with a UEFI board, I don't think it will run Windows10 22H2, (2022) what version of Windows10 did you download? Note that you need to download the W10 ISO image from UUPdump.net not from the Microsoft site.

    @zoookolik

    Try to recreate the Windows installation media using Rufus.

    Do a clone of your old 2.5" HDD boot drive, you will need a SATA III to a USB adapter cable and use the new SSDs cloning software that the manufacturer recommends. I've got the exact same laptop 5750 but not the G model and that is what I've done with my 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and used the then Samsung "data Migration" cloning software, I've also upgraded this laptops cpu from its oem i5-2410M to the higher more powerful i7-2710QE/8GB 2x 4GB DDR3-1600MT/s and also my laptop didn't come with a Bluetooth and I upgraded the card to a Wi-Fi/BT and running Win-10 Pro Feb 2025 OS build perfectly, its been working just fine for the least 10 years with the 2.5" SSD boot drive and since the Samsung EVO SSD was first released.

    • See if updating the bios to the last version from HelpDrivers Aspire 5750 as they have available 77 files for Acer Aspire 5750 and G, so try that too.

    If that doesn't help, see if your 5750G HDD SATA pins of the boot drive are not corroded and not making full contact with the new SSD drive, get some isopoll alcohol and clean the pins or use the DVD SATA slot with a caddy as the laptops boot drive and see if that will work, as my Aspire 5750 has the 500GB 850 EVO in the bott slot and the slave 2.5" mechanical HDD in the DVD slot with a caddy. good luck and hope this helps you out.
