Hi I bought a new Acer Nitro ANV15-51-75GF RTX 4060 Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-13620H - 32GB RAM - 2TB). On starting it for the first time and when using it now for work, the fan is extremely loud. I could understand that if I am gaming but I am just using Word and Outlook. Is this normal for this model? Also my two other computers connect fine to my dual screens/monitors but this new computer only does so some of the times I try. I purchased the computer as advertised (both online and confirmed by the salesperson) - as 32GB RAM - 2TB. But what the store didn't tell me when I bought it was that it was actually 16GB & 1TB and they upgraded it instore with add-ons. I only knew to ask the question because I discovered after leaving the store that the seal on the inside box containing the computer was broken. I rang the store and asked them if it was a display model or had been returned by a customer and they assure me it isn't. Should I be taking it back and asking for a refund? This is the second laptop they have sold me with broken seal.

Those symptoms are due to the laptop not being setup properly, as this laptop should not be doing that, make sure that you have the last bios version 1.24 updated, make sure that Win-11 24H2 has the last OS build: 26100.3323 and that all windows updates > advanced options > Optional updates are installed, as then this laptop is up to date and should work properly.

ANV15-51 cpu and gpu temps as tested at Quie/Echo Mode or idle by Acer, see if your temps are the same in Nitro sense.

With the store upgrading ram and the boot M.2 SSD drive and breaking the Acer warranty seal, you have to be assured by the store that they are a certified Acer technical store and that they can open the laptop and upgrade parts. As when you will need any warranty work you will have to take the laptop to the store as Acer Tech Support will not cover warranty work directly from you, but they will if the store has an Acer certification to do this work and break Acer seals, so the store has to send your laptop for any warranty work to Acer. So find all this out and get this clarified in writing for when and/if you need warranty work. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
