I got a message on my Windows 10 Acer Aspire R5-471T laptop requesting that I upgrade to Windows 11, but my Laptop is not compatible. I ran the health check and got the results in the snapshot below.

I don't feel like changing the laptop… Please suggest other options for me. Shall I Upgrade even though Windows 11 is incompatible with my current laptop? Any other workaround?

I don’t know how you tried to install Win-11, but if you did it through windows update, then it will not work, as your Aspire R5-471T laptop has an Intel 7th Gen cpu and hasn’t got the TPM 2.0 enabled. Go to the BIOS > Security > Change TPM (TCM) State to Enabled so that its running the TPM 2.0 version (if this laptop has a TPM 2.0)? As I don’t know 100%.

Also be aware that some community members have had success with the latest Win-11 version 24H2 installations into an Intel 7th Gen cpu laptop, so download the Win-11 24H2 update/clean install .ISO file and do a clean install NOT AN UPDATE within your current Win-10 ONLY operating system, as it will not work through Win- 8 or 8.1 and see if the 24H2 version installs. Be aware that when you do a clean install all data on your boot drive will be deleted so backup all your valuable data. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
