I have bought a Predator PHN 16-72 notebook, Win 11, and preinstalled Office 365. I don't want Office 365; I have bought Office 2024 license; but am not able to install it. Tried to deinstall Office 365, still not able to install Office 2024 (probably some Office parts remain hidden somewhere; used some MS tools, nothing helps). I have got a recommendation to reinstall Win11. How can I do it so that it includes all Acer specific SW (and preferably not Office 365?

Hi, to uninstall MS Office365 you need to download the MS Office uninstaller: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC Follow the steps to open the download according to your browser, and when you're prompted in the Application Install window, select Install, and then I agree to the Microsoft Services Agreement. Tip: The tool may take a few minutes to download and install. After completing the installation, the Uninstall Microsoft 365 products window will open. Edge or Chrome • In the lower-lower left corner right-click SetupProd_OffScrub.exe > Open. Edge (older) • At the bottom of the browser window, select Run to launch the SetupProd_OffScrub.exe.

I have tried that before already. Still not able to install Office 2024, probably something remains hidden somewhere. That's why I got the recommendation to reinstall Win11 (rather than trying to play with registry). See my original post above.

    My coclusion:

    this process worked:

I set the Notebook to factory settings (from a hidden partition on the drive), i.e. reinstalled Win 11 and Acer programs.

    Uninstalling O365 using: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC

    Installing Office_2024_CZ_64Bits.exe

Start any MS Office app and enter the license code.
