Has anyone else had a similar experience with Acer’s customer service? I bought an Acer laptop from The Good Guys, and it had a battery issue within the warranty period. After sending it to the Acer service center in Sydney, I received it back without any details on what was fixed. The same problem reappeared later, but by that time, my warranty had expired. The Good Guys claimed they could still process a warranty claim, but after a month of storage, they informed me that Acer wanted to charge for the repair and admitted they hadn’t actually done anything during the first repair.
