SF315-41G Laptop was overheating so I took the fan out and removed all the dust.
To do this I had to remove two ribbons one went in without issue the other smaller one has two small tags on it that I'm struggling to get back in.
I was smart enough to take before and after photos but the work is so fiddly I'm unsure if It's just getting the right angle or if there is a trick to it.

The caption that you are showing there are two flat cable plugs, one is for the IO (input/output cable) and the one that you have arrows to is the flat HDD cable that connects to the mobo plug. Put the cable into the plug and reboot the laptop and see if the HDD works, as that will give you a good indication if you have plugged the flat cable into the mobo plug properly. I know that its fiddly as I had the same problem with my Nitro AN515-56 2.5” SATA III flat cable that are dreadfully small and tiny and these plugs are also so fiddly. All you can do is hit and miss or get a cheap magnifying zooming apparatus sold on Amazon or eBay and use that, which what I used to eventually plug the SATA III flat cable into that fiddle mobo plug. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Those connectors are ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) and have a plastic tab that flips up to release and flips back down to lock the cable in place.
