Hello All,

I was trying to install another version of windows to my Acer Nitro AN515-54 as I suspect there is something corrupted with the windows I have, also it keeps raising errors and low disk space warnings and lately I was not able to find any networks options and I was not able to get into the internet, but at rebooting I realized there is no option available for USB drive in Boot priority order (only 1 option Windows Boot Manager), I tried diff recommended actions as disable Secure Boot and set a supervisor password and they did not help and now when I try to turn the machine normally it takes me into automatic repair loop.

any kind of support is highly appreciated!

    Hi, try this:
Enter BIOS: Restart your laptop and press the F2 key repeatedly as it boots up to enter the BIOS setup.
Enable F12 Boot Menu: In the BIOS, go to the "Main" tab and enable the "F12 Boot Menu" option.
Set Supervisor Password: Go to the "Security" tab and set a supervisor password. This will unlock additional options.
Disable Secure Boot: In the "Boot" tab, disable the "Secure Boot" option.
Enable USB Boot: Ensure that the "USB Boot" option is enabled in the "Boot" tab.
Save and Exit: Save the changes (F10) and exit the BIOS.

After completing these steps, you should be able to boot from a USB drive by pressing the F12 key during startup and selecting the USB drive from the boot menu.

If your Windows won't boot from USB, you can try many methods:

    • Check if your USB drive is bootable.
    • Check if the PC supports USB booting.
    • Change settings on a UEFI/EFI PC.
    • Check the file system of the USB drive.
    • Re-make a bootable USB drive.
    • Set the PC to boot from USB in BIOS.
