"known compatibility issue" error message

Member Posts: 1 New User

Regarding the above referenced error message, did anyone else have a problem with their printer freezing up after installation?

My second question is what to do if I'm still getting the error message after applying the so-called fix? My warranty has expired so cannot get Acer support which seems wrong since they created the problem. I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me?

Have you deinstalled and reinstalled the software disk that came with your printer?

Do you know if the printer you installed is compatible with your current OS version have you done an upgrade OS on your computer and checked if the printer is compatible to run on another or upgrade OS?

Would call manufacturer of printer for troubleshooting and also check that all cables are connected correctly. No problem with USB port or printer entry point either?

    Just some thoughts....
