Hi,

I have an important meeting and I am unable to get the Webcam working.

Through Settings, All system wide access of the Camera is ON. Through Google Chrome setting I have allowed all the access yet no dice.

I disable and Reinstalled the drivers of the Webcam (through Device Manager) and it changed the Webcam name from HD Camera to USB Video device.

Also I am unable to find the Camera drivers in the Acer Driver list. Do not know what it is called more likely. I really need assistance on this.

Somehow, it started working and then stopped working. The strangest thing.

After restart (like the 3rd time) I made a dummy google meet and it started working on the third try of me clicking to enable to camera but turns off after a while (10sec) automatically. I then checked on Webcamtest online and it seems to be working. I closed the tabs and did the meeting again, now this time It won't open at all and even the Webcam test shows blocked by another application. (Google Meet and Webcam test was not done parallely but only when one was closed).

Please check this attached video if it helps. It keeps changing between Camera Found and Not Found within a second.

Did the steps but nothing seems to work. I opened my laptop this morning and tried the google meet first thing and Camera was working!. I let it ON for another 5 minutes and it auto closed off then. I disabled all of my Google extensions and even uninstall Kaspersky Antivirus entirely but nothing.
